I’m so excited to share that this year’s LA County Fair is all about Road trip memories and family experiences! If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that every year we take a 10-day road trip for Spring Break with my sister and our families! Needless to say, the theme is right up my alley! I fell in love with the displays that take visitors on a nostalgic road trip of iconic highway attractions along “The Mother Road” Route 66! To get a more immersive and interactive experience about Route 66 make sure to visit Alt 66 which is an exhibition that explores the untold history of Route 66 at the @millardsheet Both brought me so many memories that I built with my family as we road tripped, and also gave me travel goals for our next trip!
As always, the fair is offering AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS FOOD! This year the fair is introducing lower priced menu items of $6.60! Check out our instastories on Instagram for some videos of the yummy food that we tried on media day! Staying on theme with Route 66 they are also offering entrance to the fair for $6.60 on special deal days (check the fair’s website for more info on deal days)
I can’t wait to go back with the kids and have them explore Brick City, which is a LEGO interactive museum. My boys LOVE LEGOS! They also love visiting the Farm where they get to feed the animals in the petting zoo and watch pig races! Another one on our list is the Halloween exhibit and Pop-Up! We are huge Halloween fans and are super excited to visit this exhibit! My little guy is a sweet tooth and can’t wait to visit the Rock Candy Factory!
I’m also planning a date night with the hubby to visit the Culinary Kitchen and Wine, Beer, and Spirits Marketplace. I also want to shop at Handmade LA where they sell homemade items (which I love). I really want to visit George Lopez’s Chingon Kitchen and check out Retro City where they’ll have old school video games!
