Discovery Cube OC

We LOVE Discovery Cube OC šŸ¤— and we had the funnest adventures experiencing their newest exhibits, Science of Gingerbread šŸ§Ŗ and šŸ° Castle Builder

The Science of Gingerbread hosts a huge gingerbread competition and displays them throughout the cube! (entries through Dec 8) Itā€™s so awesome to see how creative people are! Thereā€™s a lot of different categories and age ranges which makes it cool to see the different skill levels! Also it smells deliciously like gingerbread all through the cube!

The Science of Gingerbread exhibits have you investigating what holds a structure together, decorating cookies, helping the Gingerbread Man run, run, as fast as he can by creating an escape vehicle with Legos and race him down a race track (my kids favorite), playing with clay to invent your own food model and holiday themed items. On the weekends, guests can test their architectural skills at the Tallest Edible Tower Challenge. Hurry and visit the cube during the holiday break to experience this exhibit which will run until January 5th.

The new Castle Builder exhibit transports you to the age of kingdoms. It invites builders to explore, use their imaginations, and have fun playing in the Middle Ages by exploring a giant castle, dressing up in medieval-themed costumes, visit the lookout tower to fend off intruders, study secrets from real-world castles, use a digital program to use a virtual catapult to test the strength of a fortress wall, and even visit a dragonā€™s cave.

Thereā€™s three different age-appropriate build areas for the kids to build their own toy castle šŸ° This was my kids favorite activity and we stayed here FOREVER!( I made one too šŸ˜Š) Guests can visit a giant castle and see the king and queenā€™s thrones, a suit of armor made out of LEGOĀ® bricks, and the kingā€™s secret treasure room. My boys loved seeing the LEGO displays that they had and got some building inspiration! This exhibit is open through January 26th!

Of course the cube still has all of their other exhibits which makes for such an awesome experience for our kids! We canā€™t wait to go back!
