🍷 AD is a 90 acre winery and vineyard near Santa Clarita, close to Magic Mountain, 🎢and is a perfect place for a day trip!
They are open daily from 10-5:30 and often have special events and tours. We took the tour that they offer and got to learn and see how they make their wine! 🍷They have a great Groupon offer for $40 that includes the tasting tour, flight, picnic, and AD Winery glasses for 2! 👏🏽It was definitely a good deal! 👍🏽After the tour you can continue to buy glasses of wine for $5 or purchase bottles for the picnic 🧺 they provide.
The views are gorgeous 🏞and there’s so many places to hang out in with a group or things to do as a couple as well. We went with a group for my birthday and we all had a great time. The tour is very informative. They tell you the whole wine making process-
harvesting, crushing and pressing, fermentation, clarification, and aging and bottling. All the while they give you samples of their wine.
I learned about the events that they have throughout the year, and I definitely want to return for the I Love Lucy costume contest!
This was a much needed adult only day for me. It was a perfect birthday adventure 🥰
A few tips: Check the weather before going, it was pretty chilly and windy when we went. Arrive on time to avoid missing the tour. Get the Groupon and call to check their availability.
