We had a fun holiday adventure at Disney Channel to watch a super secret sneak preview of π΅ππ πΆππ‘π¦ πΊπππππ Musical Holiday Special with creators, executive producers and brothers Chris and Shane Houghton π
π΅ππ πΆππ‘π¦ πΊπππππ is a hilarious animated show geared towards kids in the 6-14 age range but we loved it just as much as the kids did!
The series follows mischievous and optimistic 10-year-old Cricket Green who moves from the country to the big city with his wildly out of place familyβolder sister Tilly, father Bill and Gramma Aliceπ
After we watched the holiday special, the Houghton brothers revealed to the kids that the main character Cricket, is voiced by Chris Houghton himself. They talked to the kids about voiceovers and shared about their journey and success story. They told us how they use their childhood and personal lives to develop and create the locations and characters for the series. They did a step by step on how to draw older sister Tilly, how to create a storyboard, and we got to have a Q&A with themπ
My son loves animation and is currently writing comics of his own, which made it an AMAZING honor to have both brothers give him and all the kids tips and tools on how to create animation and do voiceover! We really appreciate that they spent their valuable time teaching and talking to our kids!
