Jurassic Quest

Jurassic Quest is offering the perfect adventure for the whole family. With the current climate it seems like the best way to adventure is right from the comfort and safety of your own car. Jurassic Quest offers you just that, with over 70 life like dinosaurs together with their audio tour.
My boys are complete dinosaur lovers, but you do not have to be one to enjoy this adventure. The audio tour provides a wealth of information that makes looking at these animatronic dinosaurs that much better. They even make it suspenseful when they pause the audio tour a few times to announce the misplacement of the infamous T-Rex! The kids brought their own toys but of course were super excited to see and buy more there with a great amount of merchandise available for purchase.
My boys’ favorite prehistoric display was the gigantic Megalodon, which in fact is not considered a dinosaur. Thanks to the audio tour we learned that the name means “big tooth” and is an extinct species of shark that lived approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago during the Early Miocene to the Pliocene.  My favorite was a completely new discovery for us. We never knew that it even existed and are so proud to say that its name is Alvarezsaurus! It was a small alvarezsaurid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous, living in Argentina approximately 86 – 83 million years ago. It was found in the Bajo de la Carpa Formation and was named in 1991 after the historian Don Gregorio Alvarez. Alvarezsaurus was lightweight, had a long tail, and its leg structure suggests that it was a fast runner. We are so grateful to have learned about this dinosaur that shares our name!
Another fan favorite are the baby dinosaurs that are being handled and carried to be brought up close to car windows for an up close and personal visit. They look so real and the kids could not stop gushing over it. We wanted to take one home so badly.
Jurassic Quest has events all over the country and is currently in SoCal with three locations in the upcoming weeks.
