THE CROODS: A NEW AGE! is the perfect family film full of adventure, heartfelt moments, and lots of fun!
The Croods, along with Guy and their pets search for a new home, all the while surviving many dangerous encounters along the way. They soon come across a perfect retreat, but soon enough discover that it already belongs to another family, the Bettermans. The Betterman family definitely live up to that name with having a much more effective way of living than the Croods. They welcome the Croods to their home as guests but start to quarrel due to the contrast of their prehistoric versus modern ways of living.
Soon, the land is attacked by “Punch Monkeys” and The Croods and the Bettermans must work together through many challenges and obstacles. After many adventures and lessons along the journey, the families finally settle their differences and triumph together. The Bettermans invite the Croods to share their land and live as neighbors.
We loved the film and used this powerful story as a tool to bring up conversations about what is happening in our world now. I love when you can use a film or something that kids can enjoy to discuss essential conversations that are not easy to bring up.
